Rewards & Loyalty gives an application a structured way to recognize and retain its users — points earned through activity, levels reached over time, and a catalog of rewards a user can redeem.

The rules of what earns points, and what a point is worth, are configured centrally and consistently, rather than built by hand inside each application that wants them.
